New security system at Brno main station

On Sunday, December 15, the two-year lockout at Brno Central Station ended. The operation is newly supervised by a modern safety system, thanks to which railwaymen can coordinate the passage of up to 670 trains per day. While before the reconstruction, the dispatcher controlled the operation from one workplace and other people even from six interlockings, now the operation is managed entirely from one central control room.

TTC MARCONI is also significantly involved in the new security system. Its important part is our up-to-date KONOS dispatching system which ensures voice communication of dispatchers including GSMR STOP function allowing stopping of all trains in the area.
