Martin Bajer, an expert from TTC MARCONI, gave an interview for Hospodářské noviny, where he discussed the key aspects of implementing the European Train Control System (ETCS) on the Czech railways. He focused on the technological challenges related to the use of outdated GSM- R communication technology and the transition to the modern FRMCS standard based on the 5G network. These new technologies are expected to enhance the reliability and efficiency of rail transport, which bring significant benefits to the entire sector.
