FEL_Camp 2023 receives the support of TTC MARCONI

FEL_Camp, a summer encounter for those interested in the practical use of electronics, information and communication technologies, will again be held this year. The event, organized by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague (FEL ČVUT), is designed for secondary and grammar school students over 18 years of age as well as their first-year university colleagues. TTC MARCONI has already become a traditional partner of this camp.

The programme consists of an “exploration mission”, evening discussions with professionals about several the actual topics around the campfire. The goal of this year´s mission is to rescue the Dean who was lost with his team while conducting field research.

FEL ČVUT also announced its extraordinary competition for the public – to capture the best satellite image transmitted by the NOAA system and mark the FEL_Camp tent base on this image as accurately as possible, and also to indicate the location from where the image was received. Images must be captured on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, and include the territory of the Czech Republic. The time of the flyover will be specified during the live stream of a lecture a prior to the mission launch.

If you wish to participate in this contest, please send your captured and decoded images together with a photo of the system you used for capturing the images to: camp@fel.cvut.cz. All of the image entrees will be evaluated by a professional A.I. jury and the winners will be announced on July 26, 2023 at 21:00 CET on the FEL social networks (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook).
