UNIFE Presents Its Plan for Modernization of European Railways

The 33rd General Assembly of UNIFE, the European Rail Industry Associations, of which TTC MARCONI is a member, took place last week in Brussels.

Discussions during the meeting focused on lower emissions, better competition as well as economic security for Europe. The rail sector has the potential of becoming a zero-emission industry that can drive a mobility change thus reducing overall emissions in Europe, and still creating high-tech jobs.

Ondřej Havlík and Martin Bajer from TTC MARCONI attended the General Assembly meeting. They had the opportunity of meeting major European rail partners and discuss current topics, as well as meeting the new UNIFE General Director Enno Wiebe in person.
