TTC MARCONI Will Provide Technology Solutions to the Hradec Králové Regional Ambulance Service Securing Safer and More Reliable Communication

TTC MARCONI, the supplier of communication and security solutions for critical infrastructure operators, was awarded the public contract for supply and implementation of a new paging system for the Healthy Ambulance Service of the Hradec Králové Region (ZZS KHK). This project, supported through EU funds, marks an additional step in the modernization and security of the ZZS networks in the region.

The paging system (paging) is an important communication tool for emergency services. It enables fast and reliable communication between the dispatching room and the ZZS exit teams. “Reliability and security are the basic requirements for digitized paging network. The delivered solution will primarily ensure secure communication, protected against unauthorised access and interception,” says Jan Mrázek, Head of the IT Department of ZZS KHK, and adds: “Thanks to the new paging, which is also independent of the GSM network, the emergency response teams will be able to react quickly to emergency situations and ensure uninterrupted care for patients.”

TTC MARCONI will provide comprehensive delivery and implementation of paging for the ZZS KHK. The contract includes the installation of transmitters and converters in 10 locations throughout the Hradec Králové region, the delivery of 100 pieces of HW-end devices (pagers), as well as the integration with the information system of the medical operations centre. The contract further includes all of the necessary infrastructure for data operations and saving, incl. servers and storage. The contract includes a 4-year service support to maintain operational reliability and high level of service.

Many entities of integrated rescue systems across the Czech Republic rely on our technology solution, in which we use our own dispatching platform KONOS. Thus, we are pleased to be able to cooperate with the ZZS KHK on the further modernization of their system,” says Ondřej Havlík, Executive Director of TTC MARCONI.

The public contract for the comprehensive supply and implementation of paging is a part of the “Cyber Security of the IS of the Health Emergency Service of the Hradec Králové Region” project. TTC MARCONI, as the system integrator of this contract, will cooperate on the implementation with Cofi, a company specializing in mobilization systems and paging, and Radioking will be involved in the construction of the transmitters and converters. The realization of the project will soon start and is planned to be completed by the end of 2024.
