TTC MARCONI: In Converged Security, We Look at Security as a Whole

Although cyber security is today´s primary concern, that does not mean that physical and operational threats have completely disappeared. Exactly the opposite.

„With all attention recently focusing on cyber security, it is often a lot easier to climb over a fence somewhere and physically steal something than it is to get through a firewall. You could have perfectly secure data, but an attacker could still physically come in and steal your server. Therefore, security needs to be addressed comprehensively. If you forget about certain risks, large gaps will remain in your security system,” warns Martin Bajer from TTC MARCONI.

That is why we encounter “converged security” more often. This works with the idea that there is only one security and that cyber, physical and operational threats cannot be separated.
