Wired.cz Explores the Deployment of AI on the Czech Railway
In an informative article, the technological server Wired.cz focuses on the revolutionary role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the Czech railway transport. The article also mentions a pilot project realized by TTC MARCONI in cooperation with Správa železnic (The Railway Administration) at the Adamov railway station.
“Artificial intelligence will evaluate, for example, long-delayed luggage, which can be potentially dangerous. The software will also detect and provide warnings on situations such as a person drawing a weapon, a person lying on the ground and any other unusual behaviour at the stations, as well as at other nearby technological buildings,” Vladimír Abraham, director of the Security Department of Správa železnic, says in the article.
In this way, TTC MARCONI confirms its position as the leader in the area of technological solutions and modernization of railway infrastructure. The importance of this project is even greater as AI begins to play a key role in such traditional sectors as railway transport. The system deployed in Adamov shows the future where AI significantly contributes to operational and physical security.
